I thought I had more to say.!

..but as it turns out, the vocabulary of the average person consists of around 5000 - 6000 words. I think the total number of words in the English language is around 250,000; and growing and many words become obsolete over time. I think people like Shakespeare (arguably our languages master) must have used at least 18,000 in his writings and I'm no Shakespeare. My guess is that I probably end up using about 2000 of the most common words over and over and over again (hee hee).
